Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Head of School and Search Committee of the Overseas School of Colombo in Colombo Sri Lanka, we are pleased to announce that after a worldwide search which produced a large number of highly qualified candidates, Ms Claire McQuillan has been appointed as the new High School Principal for the 2016-17 academic year.

Ms McQuillan holds a B.S. in Physics and Education from the University of Exeter in the UK and an M.A. in International Education from the College of New Jersey in the USA. She is currently Deputy Director of Secondary at the Chinese International School in Hong Kong, China, a position she has held since 2011. Prior to her present position she was Assistant head of the Upper School at the International School of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. She has also worked at other international schools in Hong Kong and at other schools in the UK

The Head of School, Search Committee and Search Associates would like to thank all candidates who expressed interest in the Overseas School of Colombo High School Principal position, and to everyone who assisted and supported the search process.
