Dear Search Associates Colleagues,

On behalf of the Casablanca American School (CAS) in Morocco, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Anne Beveridge has been appointed as the new Lower School Principal beginning in August 2024.  

Ms. Beveridge is currently serving in her third year as the Junior School Principal, Pre-Kindergarten (age 2) to Grade 6, at Albert College in Belleville, Canada. In her past leadership roles, Ms. Beveridge served as Director of Lower School (Principal) at St. John's-Kilmarnock School in Waterloo, Canada from 2015 to 2021, Primary Principal at Dresden International School in Dresden, Germany from 2013 to 2015, Deputy Head Junior School / Primary Years Programme Coordinator at Branksome Hall Asia, South Korea from 2011 to 2013, and Assistant Head Junior School / Primary Years Programme Coordinator at Branksome Hall Toronto, Canada from 2007 to 2010.

Ms. Beveridge holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) with a double major in English and History from the University of Toronto, Canada, a Bachelor of Education, Primary and Junior Divisions, from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on inclusion of children with special needs into regular education programs, from Queen’s University, Canada.

The CAS Search Committee selected Ms. Beveridge from a highly experienced and qualified group of candidates based on her considerable past leadership experience both Internationally and in Canada. Mr. John Randolph, Director of CAS and Chair of the CAS Search Committee, shared the following about Ms. Beveridge’s candidacy and appointment:

“We are most pleased that Ms. Beveridge will be joining our school as its Lower School Principal. This difficult and long search has culminated for us with a wonderful candidate. It is comforting to know that we have chosen a seasoned and well-educated administrator to guide our Lower School and to continue the fine traditions which the Casablanca American School has cultivated.”

Ms. Beveridge is eager to join CAS and looks forward to serving as the next Lower School Principal. In response to her appointment, Ms. Beveridge shared, “My family and I are thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to join the vibrant CAS community and to explore Moroccan culture. I look forward to many years of collaboration and partnership with students, parents, staff, and faculty.

Search Associates extends thanks to the CAS Search Committee members for their effective partnership and continued support during the search process for the Lower School Principal. Moreover, Search Associates thanks all the candidates who applied for the Lower School position at CAS, and also everyone who played a part in the successful search process.
