In 2010, Search Associates successfully placed over 1,700 teachers and administrators around the world, making us the leader in international recruitment. The Toronto Search Associates Fair is the organization’s only fair in Canada.

The fair provides the opportunity for candidates and recruiters from international schools around the world to meet face to face in one venue. It is a well organized and reputable fair that has been successful for 15 years! Join us this year to celebrate out 15th year in Toronto. Since it is a year to celebrate, there will be special incentives for both candidates and recruiters.

What Sets Search Associates Apart?

• Personal Associate: Each candidate receives guidance and advice from a Senior Associate assigned to them. The associates are experienced in the field of international schools and have contacts with schools worldwide.

• Registration: The registration fee is inclusive of one fair, with the option of attending other fairs located around the world. Candidates have access to the database of jobs, as well as the help of an associate for up to 3 years, or until placed.

• Database of jobs: Search Associates candidates will receive access to the database of detailed information about schools, including salaries and benefits. The database also allows candidates to view job openings, which are continuously updated. The database can be accessed as soon as candidates complete the requirements, until the time they find a job, or up to 3 years, whichever comes first.

• International schools: Search Associates works with over 600 schools from more than 60 countries. Although not every school we work with will attend each fair, candidates have access to detailed information about every school registered with Search Associates. • Continued service: Many candidates continue to get placed after the Toronto Fair is over since we are in direct contact with schools on a regular basis and many schools require teachers for unfilled positions following the fair season. If you did not find an ideal job at the fair in January, there are many opportunities to follow. Recruiting season begins in November and continues until August/September.

• Success rate: On average, 80% of candidates are offered at the Toronto Fair and over two-thirds of candidates are placed in an teaching/admistrative position yearly (includes candidates who accept a job at the fair and those who accept jobs following the fair).
