Dr. Tim Stuart
Director of Leadership Recruitment & Global Partnerships
Dr. Tim Stuart serves as the Director of Leadership Recruitment and Global Partnerships at Search Associates. He brings more than 30 years of international education experience, most recently serving as a Regional Education Officer with the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Overseas Schools. Prior to that, Tim held key leadership roles including Head of School at the International Community School of Addis Ababa, Executive Director of Strategic Programs and High School Principal at Singapore American School, and High School Principal at Jakarta International School.
Over the course of his career, Tim has served schools across Ethiopia, Turkey, Switzerland, Indonesia, Singapore, and on the Navajo reservation in the United States. His deep global experience and commitment to educational leadership have made him a trusted voice in the international school community.
Dr. Stuart was recognized with the ECIS Outstanding Service to International Education Award in 2025. He is also a widely published author. His works include:

A Third Culture Kid himself, Tim was raised and educated in France and Germany. He holds an Ed.D. from Seattle Pacific University, an M.Ed. from The College of New Jersey, and a B.A. from Wheaton College.
