Bali Island School: Primary Principal
Start Date: July 2026.
About BIS: In 2026, BIS will celebrate its 40th Anniversary. We are the oldest and most established three-programme International Baccalaureate school in Bali. We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are a small school of around 350 students, with approximately 170 students in the Primary school. We are a diverse community with over 35 nationalities represented in our student body, and our faculty is also intentionally diverse, comprising members from around 20 different countries.
The Position: At Bali Island School, the comprehensive, inquiry-driven approach to teaching and learning is anchored in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), led by the Primary Principal, who also acts as the PYP coordinator.
Salary and Benefits: The salary and benefits package for the Primary Principal is competitive in the region and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a settling allowance, housing allowance, annual return flights to the home of record, and international health insurance.
Indonesian visa restrictions - We are not permitted to award a visa to applicants if:

You (or dependent) is 60 years old or above.

You do not have a Master's in Education.

You do not have a minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience in an International School setting.
