On behalf of the Board of Crescendo-HELP International School in Johor, Malaysia, we are pleased to announce the appointment of the school’s new Principal (Head of School), following a lengthy and wide-ranging global search led by Search Associates.

Mr Myles Jackson will take over as Principal in August 2024.     

Myles Jackson is British, with a Graduate Diploma in Music from City of Leeds College of Music, UK and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey, USA.    After working in the UK for several years, as a music teacher and in the field of educational technology, he moved into international education in 2005, teaching Music at Regent’s International School Pattaya, Thailand.   He then moved to Korea as Head of Music at the International School of Busan, then became Principal (Head of School) at the International School of Koje (2012-2017) and then Founding Principal of the British International Academy in Gyeongnam (2017-2019).    Subsequently he was appointed to be Head of School at Osaka International School, Japan (2019-2022), before moving to his current post as Principal (Head of School) at Kyoto International School, Japan (2022-2024).

Myles and his wife have an 18-year-old son, and are looking forward to their new life in Malaysia.
