Announcement: Appointment of Superintendent cum Chua Boc Secondary Principal

Dear TH School Community,

On behalf of TH School Board, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Tom Pado as our new Superintendent cum Chua Boc Secondary Principal beginning August 2024. The recruitment process attracted substantial interest from highly accomplished educational leaders from schools worldwide, a fact that genuinely fills us with gratitude and pride.

“Given the significance of this position, our School community conducted a thorough recruitment process. Alongside Search Associates, our Search Committee has worked diligently to find the right candidates. During Tom’s visit as a finalist, he had the opportunity to meet with various groups in our community, including the School’s Founder, Board members, the Leadership Team, Faculty/Staff, Parents, and of course our Students. We are delighted to share that the feedback has been inspirationally positive. Tom’s experience coupled with his passion for educating young learners, and positive insights from our community have given us the confidence that he is the Leader we are looking for”. Ms. Nguyen Thu Thao, School Board Chair, has remarked.

Mr. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in History/Economics and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. With an impressive 30 years of experience in education, including 22 years in leadership roles, with the last 12 years’ headship, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our School. Tom also impresses us with his rich background in international education, having worked in various international schools across Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa. Alongside his lovely family, he is happily married with two daughters who have graduated from international schools and are now pursuing higher education. His commitment to his family reflects his value of nurturing relationships and fostering success in all aspects of life.
