The British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) was delighted to host its 38th Annual Conference, in person, at the InterContinental Festival City in Dubai, UAE, this May 17-19. The event, whose theme was Legacy: Leading with Brilliance, attracted Principals, Heads of BSME Schools, and BSME Partners. Representing Search Associates in the Exhibitors Hall, Bill Turner and his SEARCH partner Alison Turner appreciated the opportunity to see colleagues and friends once again. Bill says,
As we used to live in the city, we already know many of the Heads of School – in fact, many are our friends.
Friends, indeed: As soon as Author, Motivational Speaker, International Presenter Sir John Jones finished his keynote speech, Courageous Leadership, he joined Bill for a round of golf!
In Exhibitors Hall, Bill and Alison were grateful to make some new connections with both candidates and school representatives in the region. As a result, SEARCH is in the process of registering Gulf British Academy, Kuwait, as a member school. At the business meeting to which the Turners were invited, they were gratified to hear that financial support from sponsors such as Search Associates makes these annual conferences possible.
