Bill Turner Featured in Teach Middle East Podcast

This winter, Senior Associate Bill Turner was honored to be guest speaker in a podcast by Teach Middle East  magazine. In it, Bill addresses questions by Editorial Director Leisa Wilson regarding the international educator’s job search forecast during the global pandemic, the timing for an effective job search, improving one’s CV and interview skills, and preparing for a move abroad. Bill finished with comments about the importance of self-reflection, evaluation, and action regarding the recruitment and support of diverse employees within all institutions—including Search Associates (SEARCH).

Bill's career in international education began over 33 years ago when he taught English as a Foreign Language and then English and drama. With more experience and credentials, Bill assumed leadership positions that rose over the years from Assistant Head of Department to Founding School Principal for the start-up of two sister-schools in Dubai. Former examiner for the General Certificate of Secondary Education, Bill is well-versed in the British curriculum as well as the curricula of the International Baccalaureate and U.S. Advanced Placement. This proud father of three boys and former Middle/High School Principal at GEMS World Academy-Dubai relishes the opportunity to contribute articles for Teach Middle East. Bill and his SEARCH partner Alison Turner—former Primary Head Teacher and School Principal in five schools in the UK, Dubai and Thailand—are able to support their schools and candidates with expertise covering every grade level!
