On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American International School of Nouakchott (AISN), Mauritania, Search Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Decker as the school's new director, to commence in July 2023.
Mark is an American educator with more than 20 years' experience in both teaching and leadership roles that include serving as a school administrator at international schools in both Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. He brings a wealth of knowledge in school leadership, including construction, curriculum expertise, and school accreditation. He is currently Superintendent of School of Quileute Tribal School District, La Push, Washington U.S. Mark has an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana. He Mark will be accompanied to Mauritania by his wife Kathy.
