Jeremy Lewis

With 41 years in education (three in the UK followed by 38 years in international schools worldwide), Jeremy Lewis brings firsthand experience across the full spectrum of school leadership to his role as a Senior Consultant at Search Associates. Having served as a Teacher, Department Head, Curriculum Coordinator, IB Coordinator, High School Principal, Deputy Head of School, and Head of School for 17 years, he specializes in executive searches for Heads of School, Principals, Directors of Teaching and Learning, and Heads of Admissions and Marketing.

Jeremy served as an administrator in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. As a Head of School, he led significant campus development projects and guided a school that piloted meaningful advances in accreditation protocols, MYP e-Assessment, and IBCP authorization. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from the University of Bath.

During his 4 years at Search Associates, Jeremy has facilitated more than 15 searches across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He looks for leaders who combine educational and operational expertise with a foundation of compassion, humility, and a commitment to decency and inclusion, qualities he regards as essential to sustainable, values-driven school communities.

Jeremy served on the CEESA Board of Directors, including one year as Board Chair. He also served as a NEASC Commissioner for International Education for five years. He has presented at numerous IB conferences and at one stage facilitated training workshops for prospective IB Coordinators.

Having spent 47 years living outside his home country, Jeremy has developed an enduring appreciation for tolerance and global mindedness that underpins his approach to every search. Beyond his professional work, he enjoys time with his family, music, museums, and theatre, and volunteers with a local charity supporting the homeless and dispossessed.
