Melinda Williams

Melinda Williams came to Search Associates in 2005, hired by John Magagna to support him in both halves of his work, running the company he had founded and serving the educators in his own territory as an Associate. She spent nearly twenty years alongside him, through his tenure and past his retirement, and there is little about how this company runs she has not touched, from the Cambridge fair and leadership searches to advertising, accounting, and the early work on our website.

She brought a background in human resources and customer service with her. Melinda studied at Pennsylvania State University and Interamericana University in Puerto Rico, earning a B.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations, and spent more than twelve years in management, human resources, and customer relations before Search Associates, including roles at Penn State and Aramark.

Today Melinda holds the financial and administrative core of the organization together. She keeps our books, runs payroll, and manages the invoicing and documentation that every division depends on, which means she is one of the few people who sees how the whole operation fits together. She administers our leadership job board, handles the logistics behind our conferences and events, and is a steady presence at the Cambridge fair each year. She is also the first person most inquiries reach, and the one who makes sure they get where they need to go.

Melinda lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with her husband and has a son in college. She is an avid runner who enters several marathons a year and spends her free time with family and friends.
