American International School Of Vienna Selects Search Associates To Find New Head

Based on its extraordinarily impressive track record of more than 500 successful head of school searches since it was founded 23 years ago, Search Associates has been selected by the American International School of Vienna to assist with its search for a new director. Dr. Robert Gross is now serving as interim director for this academic year. Dexter Lewis, co-founder of Search Associates and lead consultant for this search, knows AIS Vienna intimately. He was once the longest serving headmaster there. Dexter commented,

“AIS was my home for 5 years, and I have stayed in close touch with the school and the wonderful city of Vienna. The school has grown and prospered. The facilities have been enhanced enormously with the addition of a soccer pitch, new theater and many classroom alterations. A great place to work and live.”

AIS Vienna, founded 54 years ago near the famous Vienna Woods, is comprised of 770 students of 53 different nationalities who fill the three academic divisions: elementary, middle, and high school. The curriculum offers students opportunities to pursue a U.S. diploma, the International Baccalaureate diploma, and the Austrian Matura Equivalency Program. AIS Vienna provides not only outstanding, cutting-edge academic programs, but also a rich menu of fine arts, athletics, technology, and German language courses.

Dexter is looking for American citizens currently residing in the U.S., Canada, Asia and the sub-continent, Australia and New Zealand.
