NEW MEMBER OF UK OFFICE TEAM
This is to introduce Emma Rayner, who started work as an Executive Assistant in the UK Office of Search Associates on 1 April 2016.
Emma is taking over from Audrey Hewerdine who sadly had to leave us at the end of March. She will have specific responsibility for UK Office candidates whose surnames begin with a letter from M to Z. For a very brief bio of Emma please see David Cope and click on Meet My Team.
Emma can be contacted by email at email@example.com.
My other Executive Assistant, Rebecca Steadman (firstname.lastname@example.org), will continue to work with those candidates whose surnames begin with a letter from A to L.
All three of us are available for any information, advice or support you may need.
David Cope's UK office works with teachers and school administrators of all nationalities and backgrounds and with the full range of international schools worldwide. In particular, but not exclusively, the UK office works with
- school teachers and administrators (of any nationality) currently resident in the UK or Ireland
- school teachers and administrators with current or previous experience of UK-curriculum schools, whether in the UK or overseas or both
- school teachers and administrators interested in attending the Search Associates LONDON-Spring job fair.
The UK office runs the LONDON-Spring job fair, and is also actively involved in the LONDON-January job fair. So both these fairs are especially suitable for UK office candidates. However, any UK office candidate can also ask for an invitation to any of our other job fairs worldwide.
Professional consultations (optional)
For candidates considering a move into international teaching - or a move from one international school to another - who would welcome some general information and advice at a personal meeting, a professional consultation with David Cope at a mutually convenient time and place can normally be arranged. Such consultations usually last about 45 minutes.
The consultation is an opportunity to review and discuss such matters as: the nature of international schools; the range of opportunities available in them; the different ways in which candidates can secure international school posts; issues to be considered before accepting an international school post; personal circumstances and career goals; qualifications and professional experience.
This service is entirely optional. Candidates having a consultation are under no obligation whatsoever to apply subsequently for registration with the UK office of Search Associates. The fee due for a consultation is £55 pounds sterling for one individual candidate, or £ 85 pounds sterling for a couple.
