The Head of School serves as the chief executive officer of John F. Kennedy The American School of Querétaro, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. Responsible for leading all personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations, the Head of School ensures that academic programs, student safety, plant operations, and services fully align with the school’s mission, vision, and board policies.

Key responsibilities in this position include designing and executing long-term strategic initiatives via the School Improvement Plan and managing financial requirements, including operational and capital budgets. The role directly supervises the School Leadership Team, which delivers and supports the mission. Our Head of School must demonstrate strong public relations skills, maintain a firm commitment to child protection standards, and continue to guide our school’s growth with purpose and heart.

John F. Kennedy The American School of Querétaro is a private, non-profit, secular independent day school located on a 12-acre campus in Queretaro, Mexico. Serving over 1,400 students from Pre-school through High School, JFK delivers a comprehensive curriculum that combines US standards, Mexico’s national SEP requirements, and the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum (PYP, MYP, and DP). A member of ASOMEX and the Tri Association, and accredited by Cognia and the IB, the school proudly serves an international community with students representing over 30 nationalities and a diverse academic and support staff.
