The Early Years and Primary Principal works closely with the Head of School and serves as the instructional, curricular, and pastoral leader for ECC-1(Age3) through Grade5. The Principal leads continuous improvement in teaching, learning, assessment, student support, and school culture, while ensuring effective day-to-day leadership of the division. As an IB World School offering the PYP, the Principal also provides leadership and oversight for effective implementation and ongoing development of the IB Primary Years Programme in collaboration with the PYP Coordinator and academic leadership team.

About the school

Achieve Xiamen International School (AXIS) was established in 2021. AXIS holds a K12 international school license and is open to foreigners legally residing in China and residents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. We follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and the U.S. Common Core Standards, adopt the inquiry-based teaching and learning, and provide Advanced Placement (AP) in Upper Secondary School. AXIS is an authorised AP Test Site and SAT Test Site. AXIS is now a candidate school for WASC.
