HILLEL ACADEMY, KINGSTON, JAMAICA HEAD OF SCHOOL APPOINTMENT – AUGUST 2026

Dear Search Associates Colleagues,

On behalf of the Hillel Academy community in Kingston, Jamaica, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Andrew Bunt as the next Head of School, beginning August 2026. This appointment follows an extensive international search conducted by Search Associates in partnership with the Board.

Mr. Bunt brings broad international leadership experience across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, along with a strong track record of leading complex, high-performing school environments. He is currently serving as Executive Principal of Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science in China, where he leads whole-school strategy across academics, operations, and culture, and has successfully guided the school through accreditation and sustained improvement.

He has previously served as Head of Senior School at The British Schools of Montevideo and as Head of Secondary at Myanmar International School Yangon, as well as holding senior leadership roles in Colombia and the United Kingdom. Across these roles, he has consistently focused on strengthening teaching and learning, building leadership capacity, and developing cohesive, values-driven school communities.

Mr. Bunt is known for his collaborative leadership style, clear strategic thinking, and commitment to student wellbeing and staff development. His experience across multiple international curricula, combined with his ability to align vision with execution, positions him well to support Hillel Academy in its next phase of growth and to build on the school’s strong foundation as a leading international school in the region.

Mr. Bunt holds a Master’s Degree in Education (International Schools) from Oxford Brookes University and a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principals’ Training Center.
