American School of Doha (Qatar)

Dear Search Associates Colleagues,

On behalf of the Search Committee and the Administration of the American School of Doha in Doha, Qatar, and their partners at Search Associates, we are pleased to announce that Jennifer Mendes has been appointed to assume the role of High School Principal in 2025-2026.

Ms. Mendes has been the High School Principal at Saigon South International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, since 2020. She has also served in various other leadership roles, including High School Assistant Principal at Concordia International School in Shanghai, China (2017-2020) and High School Associate Principal at the American School of Dubai (2010-2017).

Ms. Mendes earned a B.A. in International Trade and Relations and Spanish at the University of Northern Colorado, an M.A. in Spanish Literature at Purdue University, and K-12 Principal Licensure in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado.

The Search Committee, Administration of the American School of Doha, and Search Associates would like to thank all candidates who expressed interest in the High School Principal position and to everyone who assisted and supported the successful search process.
