From June 26–30, Dr. Tim Stuart, Search Associates' Director of Leadership Recruitment and Global Partnerships, joined more than 200 international school leaders for the annual Association of International School Heads (AISH) Summer Seminar at Pickering College in Toronto.
Designed for Heads and Deputy Heads of international schools, the AISH Summer Seminar offers a valuable opportunity to step away from the demands of school leadership, reconnect with colleagues, and explore fresh ideas alongside peers from around the world. As AISH describes it, the seminar is "as much about relationships and renewal as it is about ideas and practice"—a philosophy reflected throughout the week as participants exchanged perspectives, strengthened professional networks, and returned to the purpose that inspires their leadership.
This year's outstanding facilitators—Derrick Gay, Homa Tavangar, Tim Kelley, Robert Landau, and Tim Carr—guided meaningful conversations that challenged participants to think deeply, embrace new perspectives, and reflect on the evolving role of leadership in international education.
As a proud sponsor of Quiz Night and longtime supporter of AISH, Search Associates (SEARCH) is pleased to champion professional learning opportunities that strengthen the global international school community. SEARCH enthusiastically recommends the AISH Summer Seminar to international school leaders seeking meaningful professional growth, lasting connections, and renewed inspiration. Many past participants describe the seminar as a "highlight of the year," noting that they return to their schools energized, refreshed, and ready to lead with renewed purpose.
