LAHC Conference 2019

Senior Associates Bob and Jennifer Imholt joined approximately 100 enthusiastic educators at the annual Latin American Heads Conference (LAHC) in Mexico City this March 27–30th. LAHC currently comprises 43 members—primarily U.K. curriculum schools—across nine countries in Latin America.

This year's conference—themed Shaping Minds, Transforming Lives—featured five inspiring keynotes.  Renowned inclusion expert and Paralympian Claire Harvey spoke about diversity. Author and thought-leader in the field of coaching, Christian van Nieuwerburgh, talked about coaching in educational settings and the integration of coaching and positive psychology. Head of St. Paul’s School in São Paulo and current chair of the LAHC committee, Louse Simpson gave a talk on school governance. Rachael Westgarth, Round Square CEO and former Deputy CEO of Young Enterprise, spoke about service learning.  Finally, veteran international educator and administrator, Priscila Torres presented on concept-based learning.

Jen and Bob enjoyed meeting international candidates at the Search Associates table in Exhibitors Hall, and they look forward to LAHC 2020, which will take place in Uruguay!
