Leadership Fair is a major success

Search Associates' Leadership Fair, held this year in Kuala Lumpur, was an outstanding success, say its organizers.

The Fair was attended by 29 schools offering 120 jobs and more than 100 candidates. Four candidates were offered and accepted posts on the spot and a number of other offers have been made in the last few days since the Fair took place.

Organizer, Ray Sparks said he was delighted with the Fair, which attracted high quality schools offering excellent career opportunities for Search candidates.

Schools and candidates were particularly impressed with a special panel discussion at which 6 Heads of School responded to questions from candidates.

The feedback from schools was outstanding and included the following comments:

"a GREAT and much needed event for us in meeting Admin candidates in a small and intimate venue where we can speak to candidates freely and not having to rush which is the case at the larger teacher/admin fairs"

"great quality of Admin candidates, some that we may have missed on paper had we not met them face to face"

Candidates said they enjoyed the number of occasions that they could speak freely to recruiters and commented on:

"the friendly and professional atmosphere"

"having so many of the senior associates (7) in attendance show us that Search Associates truly supports this event."

Next year's Leadership Fair will be held November 4-5 in Bangkok at the Westin Sukhamvit Hotel.
