Search Associates Connects with India’s Growing International School Community at TAISI 2026

Search Associates’ (SEARCH) Director of Leadership Recruitment and Global Partnerships, Dr. Tim Stuart, joined more than 250 participants in Goa, India, from September 17–19 for the 22nd annual conference of The Association of International Schools in India (TAISI). As SEARCH’s first representative to attend this regional conference, Dr. Stuart welcomed the opportunity to connect with educators and school leaders in a growing international education market.

India is an emerging international school market. It is good for Search Associates to be in on the ground level of this movement.

Established in 2005, TAISI has become one of India’s most influential networks for international schools. Through its platform and conferences, the association brings together schools and global education partners committed to advancing globally benchmarked, future-ready education across India. Its work provides valuable opportunities for collaboration, professional exchange, and the continued development of international education.

The 2026 conference offered participants opportunities to network with global education leaders and learn from 60 speakers. This year’s theme, “The Adult Deficit: Inside Out. Outside In,” invited attendees to consider an important challenge facing schools today: ensuring that students develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive beyond the classroom. As TAISI explained on its website:

Young people today are academically prepared, digitally connected and highly ambitious. Yet many continue to struggle with resilience, relationships, responsibility, decision-making and the demands of adult life.

TAISI Conference 2026 encouraged participants to examine the “widening gap between academic achievement and adult readiness” and explore how schools can better prepare young people for the challenges and responsibilities of adulthood.

For Search Associates, participation in the conference was an important opportunity to engage with India’s expanding international school community, build connections with education leaders, and gain a deeper understanding of the region’s evolving needs. SEARCH looks forward to strengthening its relationship with TAISI in the coming years and continuing to support the international education community.
