Search Associates Bangkok Spring Fair 2016

In the world of international education, the bulk of recruiting for the next school year takes place between October and February. However, as the recruiting season advances, many international schools continue to have open positions. On March 17-20, 2016, Senior Associates Michael Williams and Harry Deelman hosted the Bangkok Spring Job Fair, held at the Westin Grande Sukumvit Hotel in the heart of downtown.

With 28 schools and 75 candidates in attendance, the Bangkok Spring Fair is an annual small, intimate event. The fair’s comfortable size provides a fantastic opportunity for schools and candidates to identify quality matches, away from the intensity of Search’s larger events. Although the fair was small, more than 200 available positions were posted by attending schools. This year’s fair featured international schools from around the world, with the largest group from Asia.

The four day event featured a myriad of opportunities for candidates and recruiters to connect, including presentations by schools and associates, an interview sign-up session, and a rooftop reception with a panoramic view of the city. As always, the Westin Grande Sukumvit was an excellent host for the fair, with attendees praising its convenient location and supportive staff.

Search Senior Associates Michael Williams, Harry Deelman, and John Ritter were on hand to advise attendees and recruiters. Also present were the fair’s generous sponsors, Trinity Holding International and SCI Employee Benefits.
