Successful Search Hong Kong Fair 2017
General News
The annual Search Associates Hong Kong Fair successfully concluded this January, just in time for the Chinese New Year holidays. With 335 jobs on offer this year, many of the candidates were able to relax and enjoy the lunar festivities, knowing a new and exciting job had been confirmed over the two days of the fair. Hong Kong organizers, Barry and Veronica Drake, were ably assisted by Senior Associate Bill Turner and his wife Alison, who have taken over the running of the Search Dubai Fair. The team confidently expected a lot more candidates to get the good news they were waiting for when they returned to work after the Chinese New Year holiday.
Meanwhile, grateful candidates are already writing in. Ryan Tannenbaum said,
“Just wanted to let you know I’ve accepted a job at OCAS. I had a great experience with Search Associates and the job fair was fantastic. I had eleven schools interview me and five offers.”

As always the Hong Kong Fair offered a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, enhanced by the ability to use a raft of new facilities for sign-ups and interviews at the Chinese International School, Hong Kong. Many candidates commented positively on the fair and their feedback is much appreciated. Nick Staffa commented,
“I’d like to thank you for all the work you do in setting up these fair opportunities for us all. I’m glad I decided to come to the fair this weekend. It was fairly laid back and very positive. It was run efficiently and everyone I was in contact with was very professional, from Associates to recruiters to candidates. I will surely recommend Search [Associates] to other teachers and use you all if I’m job hunting again in the future. The hope is that it won’t be for a long time!”
