ES Vice Principal/ PYP Coordinator

As an established PYP School, YIS is looking for an Elementary Vice Principal and PYP Coordinator to support the development of the Elementary Curriculum and leadership of the Elementary school through fostering trust, creativity and innovation by promoting and supporting leadership in others, building teams and creating a collaborative culture of learning.

The Vice Principal/PYP Co-ordinator collaborates with the ES Principal, Senior Leadership Team, teachers, students and parents providing leadership with a focus on improving learning within the YIS context and the IB Primary Years Program.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive teaching and leadership experience in a PYP school and is confident in leading an experienced  and enthusiastic team of educators. Experience leading curriculum development within the PYP is highly desirable. We are looking for a person who can lead with compassion, humour, humility and sensitivity. They will be approachable, available and resilient.

The new VP will assume his/her new role in August 2020.
