School Details
Dhahran Ahliyya Schools (DAS) is a private, not-for-profit, dual language (Arabic & English) K-12 day school. We are located in Dhahran, KSA (border to Bahrain). The school is fully accredited by Cognia and Saudi Arabia MOE. DAS is an authorized school for IB Primary Years Program (PYP) & Middle Years Program (MYP). Our high school students choose between our American Diploma Program & Saudi Program. DAS has recently started an application for IB Diploma Program (IBDP) and IB Career-related Program (IBCP) to be implemented in the coming two years.
Facilities
DAS is made up of 2 schools, a boy’s school containing grades 3-12 and a girl’s school containing grades PrK-12. Each age group has their own cluster of classroom facilities. We have a K-12 media center which contains over 80,000 English & Arabic books. DAS is equipped with indoor science laboratories, Makerspace, multipurpose rooms, gymnasiums, and a theater. Our outdoor facilities include running track, football/soccer field, basketball/volleyball/tennis courts, and age-appropriate playgrounds.
Position Qualifications
BA/BS in English, Social Studies, or in the relevant subject area.
Active and official teaching certificate or license.
Minimum 5 years full-time teaching experience.
Absence of any criminal record.
Salary and Benefits
Salary for fully credentialed, starts annually at $57,920 and goes up to $64,960.
Benefits include tax free salary, free fully furnished housing with paid utilities, medical & dental insurance, annual ticket home, interest-free car loan, end-of-service benefit.
Additional Requirements
This position is for our boy’s school. Per our governmental regulations, only males may work on our boy’s campus.
Preferred Experience
Experience with IB Middle Years (IBMYP) & IB Diploma Program (IBDP) and Advance Placement (AP) courses is preferred.
