Interim Head-of School

On behalf of the Search Committee and the Board of Directors of the Khartoum American School, I am pleased to announce that Mr. Steve Alexander has accepted the position of Interim Head of School for the 2013/14 school year, effectively immediately.

Mr. Alexander has more than 30 years of teaching and administrative experience in international schools in Laos, Ukraine, Denmark, Hungary, Austria and in the USA. He has worked in international schools abroad for the last 19 years. He was most recently a consultant to assist with starting a new international school in Laos.

The Search Committee, Board of Directors and we here at Search Associates appreciate very much your interest in the Khartoum American School Interim Head of School position. We were pleased that a large number of well qualified and experienced candidates applied for the position, and understand from the Search Committee that their decision was difficult to make.
